Open the COD-AB Request FormMicrosoft Forms, opens in a new tab. Takes less than five minutes.
When to submit
- Twice a year, during the periodic review, OCHA or your agency asks focal points to check their country’s boundaries. Submit one response for each country you cover.
- Submit at any other time when boundaries change, or when a new or improved dataset is needed, for example in an emergency.
- Submit even if nothing has changed. Answering “No” to the question about changes confirms that the current dataset is still correct.
Who submits
The country’s COD focal point is the main respondent. OCHA country, HAT and regional offices and UN80 agencies can also submit for the same country. When there are several submissions, OCHA ISS reviews them and reconciles any differences.
Before you start
- Check your country’s current boundaries in the Boundaries Explorer.
- Find out which admin levels have a candidate dataset, and whether each one is up to date.
- If something has changed, prepare a short description of what changed and any caveats.
